BANDAAL
Bandaal is an independent app marketplace that lets developers upload Android applications (APKs) for others to download and install directly, without going through the Google Play Store. Every uploaded file is automatically scanned for malware and reviewed before it is made available for download, but no scan or review process can guarantee an app is completely safe.
You must provide accurate information when creating a developer account, including a working email address for verification. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity that happens under your account. You may delete your account at any time from your profile page, which will also remove the apps you've published.
By uploading an app to Bandaal, you confirm that:
You are solely responsible for your app, including what it does, how it collects, uses and shares users' data, and for providing an accurate privacy policy wherever the law requires one. Apps that can access personal data (for example location, camera, microphone, contacts, SMS or photos) must include a privacy policy link. Bandaal is a distribution platform: it does not build, control or monitor how third-party apps handle data once they are installed.
When you upload an app you are asked to confirm this. Bandaal keeps a record of that confirmation (your account, the app, and the time).
Every upload is scanned automatically and held until it clears review. Bandaal reserves the right to reject, delay, or remove any app at its own discretion, with or without explanation, if it is found to be unsafe, misleading, or in violation of these terms.
You may not upload apps that:
If you believe an app on Bandaal infringes your copyright, violates your rights, or is unsafe, contact us with details of the app, the specific concern, and (for copyright claims) proof of ownership. Reported apps will be reviewed and, where warranted, removed. Repeated or serious violations by a developer may result in account suspension.
Installing apps from outside the Google Play Store requires enabling "install unknown apps" on your Android device. This is a setting controlled by Android itself, not by Bandaal. By downloading and installing an app from this site, you acknowledge that you are doing so at your own discretion and that Bandaal's scanning process, while designed to catch malicious software, cannot guarantee that every app is completely free of risk.
To operate the platform, Bandaal stores: your account email and name, a hashed version of your password, uploaded app files and their metadata, and download records (which app, which version, and a hashed — not raw — IP address for basic analytics and abuse prevention). We do not sell your data to third parties.
Bandaal is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bandaal and its operator are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to damage caused by an app downloaded through the site, loss of data, or service interruptions.
Apps on Bandaal are published by their developers, not by Bandaal (except apps listed with Bandaal as the developer). Any claim about a third-party app's content, behaviour or data handling is the responsibility of that app's developer.
These terms may be updated from time to time as the platform grows. Continued use of Bandaal after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
